In the latest episode of our 15 Minutes of Fame series I take on Battery Staple Games’ 20xx, which as you’ll see from the gameplay has heavy influences from the Mega Man franchise.

Don’t let the charming visuals and female protagonist fool you though, because this game is no joke in terms of its difficulty, and will challenge even the most skilled platformer specialists out there thanks to its inclusion of permadeath. Let’s just say it’s like playing Mega Man with no continues or save codes and procedurally generated levels. Bring on the pain!

20xx is still in Early Access, but is updated regularly and only costs $11.99, so check it out if you like what you see.
