In the latest episode of 15 Minutes of Fame I offer a look at the soon-to-be released Ori and the Blind Forest for the Xbox One and PC.

This Metroid style platformer is from Moon Studios, and as you’ll see in the video above it is a thing of art. The platforming is tight and responsive, the map offers various challenges that require both brain power and skill to conquer, and the story is moving. It’s a hard game to put down, and one that all retro platforming fans should have on their radar.

And yes, I die a ton, but that’s the name of the game, luckily respawns are instant a la Super Meat Boy.

Ori and the Blind Forest releases March 11, 2015 for the Xbox One and PC. Our full review should go live on release day.
