9 PS One Classics Available Today for the PS Vita Via the 1.80 Update

Firmware update 1.8 is now live for the PS Vita, and it brings the ability to play PS One classics on the slick handheld.  As of right now only 9 titles are listed for download to the Vita, but you’ll be happy to know that those 9 titles are all pretty solid.  The titles in question are: Arc the LadCool Boarders 2Final Fantasy VII,Hot Shots Golf 2Jet MotoSyphon FilterTomb RaiderTwisted Metal 2 and Wild Arms.  FFVII!  That’s all that I needed to see to be content with this update, but Jet Moto, TM2, and Wild Arms are all worthy PS One classics as well.

According to Sony if you have bought any of these games before you should be able to download the new Vita compatible versions for free.  You can check out the trailer for this firmware update below.  You’ve never seen a trailer for a software update…
