A Very Basic Plot Synopsis Has Surfaced for Avengers 4

Avengers: Infinity War is still going strong in theaters, but it appears we may have our first basic plot synopsis for its direct sequel, Avengers 4. The synopsis comes from the latest issue of License Global, which apparently also uncovered the plot synopsis for Infinity War, so I guess we should take its Avengers 4 synopsis somewhat seriously. I wouldn’t call it very informative or revealing though, because it’s pretty damn simplistic at this point in time. Here it goes:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

First off, it’s insane to think that the MCU franchise will have 22 films under its belt in just 11 years time, and what’s even crazier is that pretty much every single one of them is a good flick, or tolerable for a comic book movie. Secondly, the concept of sacrifice being a major aspect of Avengers 4 shouldn’t surprise anyone. While I believe most of the deaths showcased in Infinity War will be reset in Avengers 4, I do feel that at least one or two of the core Avengers will die for good. Tony and Cap are the easy choices, as they have been the de facto leaders of the Avengers from the beginning, and I believe Chris Evans is done with his contract after this film anyway. You never know, money talks, so they all could be back, but based on this synopsis we should all prepare for a happy but somber resolution to the Avengers saga that started in Infinity War.
