Abzû’s Launch Trailer is an Entrancing Underwater Voyage

Abzû gives off an otherwordly vibe.

The underwater exploration game turns the common perception of the deep sea — one of inky blackness and crushing pressure — into a vibrant painting of life. Heady greens and burnt oranges dominate the screen during Abzû’s latest trailer, crafting an exciting and inviting world.

There’s huge whales and schools of fish to be seen, as well as some kind of underwater cave paintings. Despite being officially announced for quite some time, much of what makes Abzû tick has remained a secret.

After watching Abzû’s launch trailer, however, I’m certain that it’s a secret I want to get to the bottom of.

Abzû will be available on August 2.
