Alice: Madness Returns Gets Free Interactive iPad Book

In an effort to get gamers caught up with what happened in between the first Alice game by American Mcgee and the upcoming sequel, Alice: Madness Returns, EA is offering a free interactive story book iPad app.  I honestly never even new there was an Alice game in the first place, but I did know about Alice: Madness Returns, so this iPad app is ideal for a gamer in my situation.  Who isn’t a fan of the Alice in Wonderland tale, and I’m not talking about the p*ssified Disney version either!?  Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” is a time tested tale of fantasy and illusions that has mesmerized both children and adults for many decades, so it comes as no surprise that it now has its own videogame franchise.

The free story book app for the iPad gives a unique and engaging look into the world of American Mcgee’s Alice games, and rather than just be a static book it comes to life with activities that the reader can perform to progress the story.  Once again this is a fantastic use of Apple’s tablet, and considering its free it’s definitely worth checking out.  Even if you haven’t played the Alice games from Mcgee before, it’s still worth a look just so you can show off how awesome your iPad is to your broke a*s friends.  I’m including a small demo of the app below, so if you want to see what this freebie looks like before you download it head on past the break.  Alice: Madness Returns will be available for purchase on 6/14, so reserve your copy today! You’ve been wondering what kind of drugs these Alice people are on…
