The first of five planned DLC packs for Alien: Isolation has released today and it’s called ‘Corporate Lockdown.’ This DLC adds three new maps to the game’s Survivor Mode, which aim to flesh out events that took place before Amanda Ripley and the Torrens arrived at Sevastopol. The new maps are called ‘Severance’, ‘Scorched Earth’ and ‘Loose Ends.’ Players will take control of Seegson Executive Ransome as he tries to make his escape from the deadly space station with valuable Nostromo flight recorder data.

A new feature is also being added with ‘Corporate Lockdown’ called Gauntlet Mode, which will task players with making it through all three of the maps without dying. Good luck with that you masochists! Interested gamers can purchase the DLC through the platform marketplace of their choice for $7.99/€6.99/£5.59. This content is also part of the Season Pass, so if you own that you will own this DLC and the four other Survivor Mode packs: ‘Trauma’, ‘Safe Haven’, ‘Lost Contact’ and ‘The Trigger’.

Head on down past the break to check out three new screenshots for the ‘Corporate Lockdown’ DLC. There’s also a Let’s Play of the DLC embedded above the post body. Make sure to check out our review of the game to see why you should be playing it.
