News that pre-orders of Alien: Isolation would include an exclusive mission featuring the original characters from the 1979 film, Alien, shook the gaming world earlier this month, adding a massive incentive for fans of the franchise to pay for a copy of the game in advance.

Today, a short new trailer has been released featuring Signourney Weaver and the rest of the film’s core cast discussing the brilliance of properly telling an Alien story in video game format.

The trailer includes some pre-release footage of the game, as well as each actor’s thoughts on the importance of narrative and immersion within the video game medium.

Alien: Isolation is set to release on October 7, 2014 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
