Alien: Isolation Update Adds Nightmare and Novice Modes

Creative Assembly has released a free update for Alien: Isolation today that adds two new modes for players to experience.
Due to fan feedback a new Nightmare mode has been added, which ups the challenge of the game’s campaign by making the Xeno, droids, and humans more violent and aggressive, while also hampering Amanda’s motion tracker and map. This challenge should only be taken on by those looking for the most difficult and true-to-life Alien: Isolation experience to date, because it will not be a walk in the park. Additional details about this mode can be found in the image below.
The second new mode, which is also based on fan feedback, is called Novice, and it offers the opposite experience that Nightmare provides. This style of play will allow gamers to take a more relaxed tour of the Sevastopol without the fear of being spotted or hunted down by the Xeno and other factions on the space station. Additional details about this much easier experience can be found in the image below.
The update is now live, so if you have the guts to take on the Nightmare mode we wish you and your underpants the best of luck.
