All-Star Voice Cast Revealed for ‘Master of Orion’ Reboot

Master of Orion is no stranger to success. The original game in 1993 captured the attention of major news outlets as it was heralded as one of the most influential games of its time. Nearly 26 years have passed, but Master of Orion refuses to be forgotten.

Developer NGD Studios and publisher WG Labs has taken the name, improving upon its original excellence with a modernized retake set to release on February 26th. Above these words lay a video revealing their all-star voice cast for the 10 original races. But what’s a reboot without additions? A new group of galactic human refugees, the Terran Khanate, has been added to the game for those who purchase the Collector’s Edition.

Robert Englund, notably known for his work as Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street, voices the Terran Emperor. Other big names such as Troy Baker (The Last of Us), Nolan North (Uncharted), and Alan Tudyk (Firefly) join the ranks behind the microphone, lending their voices to represent the Psilon Emperor, Darlok Emperor, and Psilon Advisor respectively.

And that’s just the beginning. Check out the list (alphabetically sorted) below:

  • Troy Baker: Klackon Advisor, Psilon Emperor
  • J.B. Blanc: Bulrathi Advisor, Meklar Advisor, Meklar Emperor
  • Kat Cressida: Mrrshan Empress
  • John de Lancie: Human Emperor
