WEBZEN has announced a myriad of changes slated to hit its Allods Online MMO during mid-September when the “Everlasting Battle” expansion goes live.
Among other things this new update will bring deeper localization to the EU gaming community by merging all of the servers into one large European community platform. Players will also now have the ability to switch to a new subscription model versus the Item Shop model that is currently in place if they wish to do so.
The changes that will affect gameplay revolve around a new friend system, the addition of Dominion Raids, and improvements to the Mage and Summoner classes. The Dominion Raids will allow guilds with more than four groups waiting in a battle queue to participate in a massive community raid, while the class updates will make each type a bit more formiddable.
Allods Online’s “Everlasting Battle” expansion is set to go live sometime in September, so in the mean time head on down past the break to check out some new screenshots for it.
