Android Airtight App Integrates Apple AirPlay with Google TV

A new app on the Android Marketplace called Airtight enables Google TV users to have limited functionality with Apple AirPlay on the GTV devices.  Airtight doesn’t feature the full host of features that you’d get on an actual Apple TV unit, but it will allow you to stream local iPhone content to your Google TV.  For now the app will not allow you to stream purchased DRM media to your TV, but you can still watch those home videos of Grandma’s chin collecting scrambled egg fragments while she tries to force kiss little kids (bad memory from a nursing home visit when I was a kid, but not my own Grandma).

Airtight for Google TV

The Airtight app is currently available for $.99, and can be downloaded from the Marketplace here, or from your Google TV’s app store.  You’ve been thinking your Google TV could use a little love these days…
