If you haven’t played Angry Birds in some form or fashion by now shame on you for being productive!  This physics based demolition game has to be one of the best time wasters on a mobile platform since Plants vs. Zombies.  I cast double shame on you if you haven’t played PvZ as well, but that’s not this articles focus.  That honor is for Angry Birds, which was confirmed to be coming to the XBLA, PSN, and the Wii by Rovio CEO Peter Vesterbacka.  At a recent summit for Social gaming held in London, Vesterbecka opened up about the future of his studios wildly successful Angry Birds IP confirming the above detail, and also hinting at the future of Angry Birds.

Not only will it make its way on to the consoles, but it sounds like Angry Birds may be getting a sequel shortly after the console versions launch.  The sequel may feature the antagonists from the first game, the dreaded pigs.  Stay tuned for more details.  I highly urge you to get this game for your mobile device if it can play it.  I know it’s free for Android devices, and costs some money on iDevices, but it’s well worth it when you find yourself needing to waste some time while waiting on life to happen.

I’m including a gameplay trailer for Angry Birds for those of you that need convincing in a visual manner.  Just listen to how awesome those little birds are, and not to mention how catchy the tune is.  The Angry Birds theme song is now forever trapped in my head just like the Plants vs. Zombies theme.  Doo-do, doo-do, doo-doo-d00-doo-doo-doo, and a doo-do.  Yes, I lost my marbles many years ago.  You’ve been trying to not play Angry Birds while out with your significant other…
