MARVEL Strike Force players can now unlock Ant-Man in game thanks to the latest update, which added a new event to provide orbs to unlock the character. It’s a whole new style event too, so it’s nothing like the Deadpool or Thanos events for unlocking their orbs. It’s more like the game’s campaign mode, so you have dedicated energy for it and must play through three levels of nodes to earn Ant-Man orbs. Honestly, it seems a bit clunkier than the past character events, but at least the developers are trying new things to see what works or not.

Wasp will also be coming to the game at a later date, and so are Groot and Star-Lord. They will more than likely be in Blitz events, so stay tuned for more details. You can check out a new trailer for the Ant-Man event above.

About the Ant-Man Event

We’ve got big news today as four new recruits join Nick Fury’s super crew of Heroes and Villains in MARVEL Strike Force. The first recruit is a man who might be the size of a mint, but has the heart of a giant: Ant-Man. Joining him is his bad-ass partner and one of the original Avengers: the Wasp. Next up is the intergalactic protector of few words: Groot. And lastly, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy himself, Star-Lord.

Starting today, players will be able to unlock new content based on Marvel Comics’ size-bending Super Hero, Ant-Man. Ant-Man’s unique ability to use Pym particles to shrink himself down to the size of an ant or supersize himself when necessary makes him an essential member of any Strike Force. With a hero of his stature-warping abilities, there’s no telling what sort of trouble Ant-Man can cause for his enemies!
