Apparently Star Wars Episode VIII Has Wrapped Filming in West Cork Ireland

Mark Hamill answered an Irish Star Wars fan’s tweet today about a flyer the Star Wars Episode VIII crew sent to the people of West Cork Ireland, which hosted them for an extensive location shoot, that signals the production has wrapped and is moving on.

The letter can be read below, and it does sound like it means that the cast and crew are moving on from the location to being work on the next. It’s a pretty cool gesture to the people of the West Cork region of Ireland, and definitely a keepsake-type of collectible for those who received them. Final filming should be wrapped by the end of the summer, so it’ll be interesting to see if the crew sets up shop in another location before the final wrap.

Star Wars Episode VIII is set to hit theaters December of 2017.
