Artist Envisions What the Justice League Movie Could’ve Been With Two Awesome Darkseid Pieces

Let’s face it, the Warner Bros. led DC Cinematic Universe has mostly failed. Outside of Wonder Woman, none of the movies in the DCCU have been great. They’re all mostly average at best, which is a shame when you consider the pedigree of the DC Comics characters that have been featured in them.

I mean how do you fuck up movies that have Batman and Superman in them? It truly is mind boggling to think about, but that’s where we are with the DCCU, and it sucks. Especially when you see fan art pieces like BossLogic’s two “What Could’ve been” pieces for the Justice League movies. As you can see he’s incorporated Darkseid, who was rumored to be the big bad coming to Earth in the now dead Justice League sequel.

In the first piece (above), you have the Big 3 taking him on, but in the second, you have the rumored appearance of Green Lantern, which is more salt in the wounds of DC fans who wanted to see this character brought back to the big screen to officially abort his previous Ryan Reynolds portrayed debut.

DC movies aside, the art pieces are awesome in their own right, so even if you could care less about DC movies, the art itself is worth appreciating.
