Artist Provides Look At Christopher Reeve In The ‘Man of Steel’ Superman Suit
Depending on when you were born you may have a different opinion on who the best Superman actor of all-time is, but for me the answer is clear. Being a child of the 80’s, there is only one true Superman for me, and that is Christopher Reeve, who donned the cape and tights for four feature length Superman films. This dude was meant to be Clark Kent/Superman, and every actor since him has been compared to him, because he set a high bar when he played the role. Our current Superman is Henry Cavill, who definitely looks the part, but he’s no Reeves when it comes to playing the role.
Mike Habjan, the creator of the epic Superman vs. Hulk CGI battle on YouTube, must also be a big fan of Reeve’s Superman, because that’s who his Superman is modeled after in the brawl videos. He took the latest part of the Brawl and reanimated a section of it to feature Superman in the suit that was worn by Cavill in Man of Steel, so now we can see what Reeve would have looked like wearing the more modern suit that Snyder cooked up for Superman in his DC live-action movies. In all honesty, I don’t mind the suit on Reeve, but I still prefer the lighter blue suit with red undies that he sported in his four Superman films. That’s just me, so head on up above to see what a muscled up Reeve would have looked like in the Man of Steel Superman suit.
