Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: ‘300’ Inspired Opening Prologue Mission Gameplay

Ubisoft is allowing early parts of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to be shown off early starting today, so we cooked up a few gameplay videos to show off what you can expect during the game’s first two chapters. The first video we have ready to show off features a part of the game’s opening prologue/tutorial mission, which essentially plays out like a scene from Zach Snyder’s 300 movie.

You’ll get to see King Leonidas giving a motivational speech to his men before a massive battle begins. The battle plays out like a tutorial, but it also provides an early look at how Conquest battles will be fought in the game’s later core missions. You’ll also get to see a pretty brutal cutscene to close out the clip. Let’s just say that the King would approve.

Make sure to stay tuned for our other early looks at Assassin’s Creed Odyssey by following the #AssassinsCreedOdyssey tag linked below.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to release on October 5, 2018, pre-order now!
