‘Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ DLC And Free Content Unveiled

Normally, the DLC for Assassin’s Creed games bore the hell out of me, and they’re usually things that easily could have fit in the game. I have to say, though, that the first big DLC planned for the new game looks radically different from what I’ve seen of the normal game. You’re gonna be fighting Egyptian gods, giant scorpions, and other creatures that would be right at home in a Bethesda game.

There’s another DLC that’s just a continuation of the main story, somewhat, which I think is silly. Just tack that onto the actual game; don’t make people pay for that shit. That’s dumb.

There’s also some free content coming, including a picture mode, which is just the ability to take screenshots and put filters on them. I’m sure it’ll be a nifty little thing to do, given all the pretty vistas in the game. There’s gonna be daily quests that you can take on to get really good equipment, and a horde mode at some point.

I guess even AC games have to have a horde mode now.
