Asura is a hack & slash role-playing game inspired by Indian mythology, and you play as the reincarnated demon spawn, Asura. After being burnt to ashes by the holy men of the Daeva empire, the time has come for you to cast your vengeance and avenge your death.

You’ll obliterate your way through the randomly generated fortress of the Daeva empire, and you’ll be able to equip a wide variety of weapons while carefully crafting your character using the ever-changing skill tree.

I really enjoyed playing Asura! It looks a little bit like Diablo III, but it’s definitely more colorful and has some unique characteristics that make it its own game.

If you didn’t know, Asura means “demon” in Sanskrit. I think it’s really cool how Ogre Head Studio put a lot of actual mythology into this game because it makes the game have a deeper meaning. I will definitely be purchasing this game in the future.

Asura will be launched on Steam sometime in April!
