Still more goodies made available from Marvel’s Phase Three announcement event is a leaked clip from the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron that shows the growing divide between Captain America and Iron Man that will spill over and ramp up exponentially in Captain America: Civil War.

In the clip, Cap and Iron Man discuss Thor going off after learning something from Scarlet Witch (“the Maximoff kid”) and that Iron Man doesn’t really know the whole past for Captain America. The two really butt heads when it seems that Iron Man wants to take precautions before things get out of hand but with the exact opposite of that opinion is Steve Rogers. “Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts innocent people die.”

In the Civil War crossover, the Superhuman Registration Act was what caused the riff between heroes, forcing each to choose a side, again which pitted Cap versus Iron Man. It’s unclear whether that will be in play in the cinematic universe because it seems that Tony Stark’s actions in Avengers: Age of Ultron and his ideals about how to protect the Earth may be the genesis for the divide. Either way, Captain America: Civil War will open May 2016 to much anticpiation.
