Avengers: Infinity War Fans Are Killing It With Their Team Hawkeye and ‘Logan’ Poster Mashups
Last Friday we got the final trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, which I happened to break down in video form if you care to watch, as well as a new official poster. If you studied the poster though, it was lacking a key Avenger, or at least one of the group’s founding members from the MCU version of Marvel’s superhero squad. This missing character is none other than Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, who seems all but forgotten in Infinity War. Luckily, like the title of this post implies though, Marvel fans used their creative juices and photoshopping skills to pay homage to the Hawkster.
My favorite Hawkeyes: Infinity War poster tribute has to go to Bosslogic, who crafted the below gem. As you can see Hawkeye is everywhere, and the only other characters featured are Thanos and Ant Man, yes he is in there, just look closely.

The next Hawkeye tribute comes from Philip Kennedy, who actually revealed that the initial poster Marvel rolled out last week was actually a fold out poster, and we all failed to realize that Hawkeye’s head is what the other characters are standing on, because his face and body take up the entire bottom half of the foldout version of the poster.
I'm guessing that this is one large fold-out poster and we just haven't seen the bottom half yet… pic.twitter.com/eaBrI3vaq5

Now the official Avengers: Infinity War poster isn’t the only item to get fans photoshopping the weekend away, because another mashup was created from a shot from the new trailer, and it may be even more brilliant than the Hawkeye parodies. BossLogic, the same dude who nailed the Hawkeye poster, also crafted a mashup of the Logan poster, except instead of X-23 holding Wolverine’s hand, it’s little Gamora’s green hand holding Thanos’ digits. Apparently this mashup went over so well that the Russo Brothers, the Directors of Infinity War, have started using it for their social media profile pics. I don’t blame them, it’s ingenious. Check it out below.
