Back to the Future: The Game – Trailer and Episode Details

Telltale Games has released the first trailer for their episodic Back to the Future adventure game.  Currently the game will only be available on PSN, PC, Mac, and the iPad.  Boo on Telltale for not considering the XBLA or Wii as platforms for this game!  Good thing I’m a gadget freak and have 2 of the 4 devices that will run this game if I choose to check it out.  From what I could pick up, Back to the Future:  The Game will be a point and click adventure game, which is well suited to the iPad and PC market.  It will be released in 5 episodes with the first one coming in December, and the remaining 4 launching  in February through May.

You’ll have to check out the trailer below to see what you think, and if you need more details head on over to this link.  The game is being offered as a pre-order for $24.95 with a bonus puzzle game being bundled in.  Personally, I felt an intense sensation of nostalgia watching the trailer.  I would have to imagine anyone that grew up in the 80’s has some sort of fond memory about the Back to the Future movie trilogy.  I mean who hasn’t used the famous “1.21 Gigawatts quote” at least once in their life?  Hell, I’m still trying to cram a Mr. Fusion into my Jeep, so I can stop getting pwned by the oil companies.  Take a look and see if this game is for you.  You’ve been wanting to get Back to the Past…

  • February: “Get Tannen!” (Episode 2)
