Banjo-Kazooie is that game that had to compete with Mario 64 and was almost exactly the same. Don’t even try to debate it, you either liked one or the other, and you would defend it to the death.

Personally, I had a PlayStation, so I was more concerned with stuff like Crash Bandicoot and Megaman X4-X6 and the N64 was just not my cup of tea. I’ve played Banjo-Kazooie since, on the Xbox 360, and I love it, it’s a fun game, but from what I’ve seen and understand, Tooie was even better, and Nuts and Bolts was just a steaming pile of disgustingness. With the Rare Replay out now, it’s a pretty perfect time for this to come out, hopefully we get a Battletoads video next!
