No video game series in history has blurred the line between simple game and groundbreaking cinematic experience like Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series. Widely accepted as some of the greatest games of all time,  there is no denying that the video game world has high expectations for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

If there were any reservations regarding the game’s potential, the lengthy trailer revealed to the gaming world last night has surely silenced them.

The trailer is absolutely classic MGS, complete with dramatic moments, brilliant music and some of the most impressive visuals ever seen. Each and every shot of the trailer is brilliant composed and Kojima’s directorial prowess shines through each moment, making it impossible to take your eyes off of the action.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to release in early 2015.
