Batman: Arkham Knight’s Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC Slated for July 14th Release

WB has announced that the story driven Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight will be releasing on July 14, 2015 for those gamers who purchased the game’s Season Pass. For those who did not, the DLC will be able to be purchased separately on July 21, 2015 for $6.99.

This DLC will offer gamers the first chance to play as Batgirl in the Arkham franchise, and it will be a prequel to the first three Rocksteady Arkham titles. It should be noted that Rocksteady didn’t develop this DLC though, that burden fell on WB Games Montréal, which used the Arkham Knight engine to produce the new content. All other Arkham Knight DLC will be produced by Rocksteady though, and it include an exclusive Flashpoint Batman Skin, which is available now, and delivers regular new content for six months featuring new story missions, more Super-Villains invading Gotham City, new legendary Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.
