Battle Chasers: Nightwar is releasing next week on October 3 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC (Switch delayed), so we were fortunate enough to get our hands on an early release copy to get started on our review. While the game’s depth and length are great I’m not at a point to provide an official review, nor could I give you my final opinion anyway due to an embargo that is in place on review scores. With that being said I still wanted to show off and discuss what I’ve experienced so far, so I cooked up the video preview below, which comes from the Xbox One version of the game. The footage was captured using the built-in GameDVR app on the console, so it’s only in 720p. I can assure you that the game looks just fine on the Xbox One S, but it does have a few stuttering issues to contend with.

The video below covers the opening 1-2 hours of the game. There are no story moments, so you don’t have to worry about spoilers. I mainly show off the Overworld map activities, areas you can explore on the map, as well as the various dungeons you’ll come across containing story related items and bosses. I can tell you that I’ve bee enjoying myself so far, and am eager to keep at it over the weekend, so head on down below to check out the preview, and make sure to come back next week for our full review of Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
