BeeGee’s and Pink Floyd Mash-up Acutally Works

Mash-ups have become popular these days because of the technology artists have at their disposal.  A music mash-up usually consists of 2 famous songs that are mixed together to produce a brand new sounding version of a song.  Typically, you take the lyrics and vocals from one song while using the music from another.  In this case the BeeGee’s “Staying Alive” provides the music while Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” provides the lyrics.  Don’t get me wrong, I still prefer each song in its original state, but this “Stayin’ Alive in the Wall” version isn’t half bad.  It would’ve been 10x better if they didn’t mix in footage of John Travolta doing some disco dancing.  I wish they mixed it in a way the he ended up in the meat grinder from the Wall.  Check it out below.  You’ve been thinking of a way to make BeeGee’s music semi-cool…
