Behind the Scenes With ‘Tron: Legacy’ – Digital Magic at It’s Best

If you’re a geek and haven’t seen ‘Tron: Legacy’ yet, you’re missing out on some of the more impressive CGI work and 3D use in a film to date.  Like I said in my review of the film, the scenes that take place in the Grid and the Gaming Arena are probably two of the best computer enhanced sections of any digital movie I’ve seen in the past few years.  I’d say only ‘Avatar’ has been able to create better CGI than ‘Tron: Legacy’, but I think the 3D in Tron may be slightly better than the former.

I found a clip that you’d expect to find on the Blu-ray/DVD release of ‘Tron: Legacy’, which goes through some of the digital magic used to make the world of the Grid and Gaming Arena come to life.  It’s almost as awesome as watching the movie itself.  Check it out below to see what you’ve been missing out on.  You’ve been amazed  at how far CGI has come…
