Bethesda has revealed that it plans to offer Fallout 4 players a $30 Season Pass for the game’s planned DLC, which will start rolling out next year, but concrete details about what this DLC may entail aren’t available at the moment. Just know that the development team plans to release similar types of DLC for Fallout 4 that it did for Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout 3, and that they deem the content to be worth over $40.
In addition to the game’s Season Pass price Bethesda also committed to providing regular free updates that will not only address issues, but also add new features in a similar fashion to how updates were handled with Skyrim. Bethesda also confirmed that the free Creation Kit mod tools will be made available in 2016 for PCs, and that the modded content will also be playable on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
Fallout 4 hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10, 2015.
