Better not Miss the Easter Weekend iPad Game Sale Extravaganza

Holy super duper iPad deals Batman!  For those of you that like to pass the time on your iPad by playing awesomely designed games specifically for Apple’s tablet, then this weekend is the time to beef up your collection.  For the next day or two some of the best looking games made for the iPad have been marked down to the ridiculously low price of $.99.  I’m not talking about little iPhone ports either.

These cheap a*s (As in price) games come from developers like EA, THQ, and Gameloft with most of them usually costing $9.99.  EA is being the most generous with their discounts for Easter Weekend by offering triple A games such as Dead Space, Madden 11, Fifa 11, C&C, and a few board games for the low price of $.99.  They’ve also cut some of their other games like Rock Band down to $2.99.

Gameloft is also offering some of its HD games for $.99 that range from high-quality FPS titles to RTS games with a similar feel to Civilization.  On a side note I’m glad I found the Gameloft section in the App Store, because these dudes and dudettes put out some fantastic looking (And playing) games at very reasonable prices.  THQ is also offering some game deals (Namely SWTFU iPhone game for $.99), so you might want to snag some of their Star Wars licensed games even if they’re not specifically made for the iPad.

This iPad game extravaganza has taken my iPad 2 by storm.  Within 2 hours of browsing these deals in the App Store I managed to snag 18 new games for only $19!  Considering that paying retail price would’ve ran me close to $100 I’d say I made out quite alright.  Although, deals like this do get dangerous because it becomes all too easy to just hit the BUY button on every random game you come across.  I managed to not go super crazy, but if you’re interested in what games I picked up during this Easter weekend sale make sure to look at the screenshot below.  Don’t hesitate to jump on these deals for too long, because most of these games will go back to full price on Monday.  You’ve been wondering if I really needed to buy 18 new games for my iPad 2…
