Bioshock Fan Film Offers a Prequel Story for the First Two Games

A film maker and Bioshock fan by the name of JaredWPotter on YouTube, has created a fantastic live action prequel for the first two Bioshock games called New Year’s End.  This 6 minute short takes a look at the beginnings of the revolution that lead Rapture into disarray before the first game took place.  It features some splicers, a Big Daddy, and the classic 1950’s feel that the games so perfectly created.  Potter and his crew did an amazing job with this project, so make sure to check out their site here to read up on it.  If reading isn’t your thing then just check out the fan film itself below.  You’ve been amazed with what gets released on YouTube these days…

New Year’s End Official Synopsis

“Preceding the events of BioShock 1 and 2, this short gives a look at a very significant event in Rapture’s history. In the lowest parts of the city, a small group of splicers have something planned that will change the course of Andrew Ryan’s vision of utopia.” (Potter)
