Irrational Games’ final bit of DLC for BioShock Infinite is finally here, and ‘Burial at Sea – Episode 2’ promises to give closure to fans of the series.

BioShock fans can now download the conclusion to BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea, which places gamers back in Rapture before its iconic fall from grace. ‘Episode 2’ promises to pick up where ‘Episode 1’ left off, except this time around players will control Elizabeth instead of Booker. Elizabeth is hell bent on protecting a little sister, but she’s run up against some shady characters after the conclusion of ‘Episode 1.’

Ken Levine explains that ‘Episode 2’ will feature slightly different gameplay to compliment Elizabeth’s skill sets. She’ll need to rely more on stealth and new weapons rather than brute force, so controlling her will be a slightly different experience than controlling Booker. “I think the work the team did on this final chapter speaks for itself,” said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. “We built something that is larger in scope and length, and at the same time put(s) the player in Elizabeth’s shoes. This required overhauling the experience to make the player see the world and approach problems as Elizabeth would: leveraging stealth, mechanical insight, new weapons and tactics. The inclusion of a separate 1998 Mode demands the player complete the experience withoutany lethal action. BioShock fans are going to plotz.”

If you’ve played BioShock, BioShock Infinite, and BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode 1, then you must complete your journey by purchasing ‘Burial at Sea – Episode 2.’ The DLC is now available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms for $14.99. If you purchased the Season Pass for BioShock Infinite you will have access to ‘Episode 2.’ Head on down below to check out three new screenshots for the DLC.
