BLR Softens the Blow of the Mayweather/McGregor Circus

Normally the sports world is in a bit of a lull this time of the year, with the MLB finishing up its All-Star break and the NBA, NFL, and NHL in their respective offseasons. This summer is a bit different. The NBA world is abuzz as they hand out giant deals to anyone holding a basketball, while NFL players are trying to figure out how to get into the same contractual stratosphere as their hardwood counterparts. Oh, and there’s this fight between the world’s best pound-for-pound boxer and MMA fighter.

If you’ve been under a rock for the last few months, undefeated professional boxer Floyd Mayweather agreed to fight never-boxed-without-kicking amatuer Conor McGregor. It’s absurd to think that McGregor has a fighter’s punch (!) against Mayweather, but the real draw is all the pre-fight chaos. The tandem are currently wrapping up a four-city circus tour of public promotion, and it has been nothing short of primo trash talk. Fortunately for fans of boxing or otherwise, Bad Lip Reading created a new video with clips from the pressers, including Floyd’s new song that got its world premiere at the end of the video.

Check out the video above, and catch the fight on August 26th.
