The third add-on in Borderlands 2’s Headhunter series has officially been dated for release on December 17, 2013 for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3 platforms. The DLC will cost USD $2.99 / GBP £2.39 / EUR 2,99 €, and adds a holiday themed mission that takes place in Gingerton, which is holding a train full of weapons meant for Marcus’ gun shop. He enlists the help of the Vault Hunters to get his guns freed from the evil Abominable Mister Tinder Snowflake and his Gingerton minions.
If they’re successful players will be rewarded with an oversized snowman head that is tailored to each class. Each character will also get a new skin that reflects the holiday season. For example, Salvador the Gunzerker will get a Santa outfit, and Krieg the Psycho will get the dreaded ugly sweater holiday present. To preview this holiday themed content you can head on down past the break to check out a batch of new screenshots.
Borderlands 2: How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day hits all platforms on December 17, 2013 (12/18 in parts of Europe for the PS3), and will require a copy of Borderlands 2, which is available everywhere to buy.
