Crafted by Deep End Games (Staffed with veterans of the AAA threats, BioShock and Dead Space) and published by Feardemic, Perception has the pedigree to creep your pants right off! You play as Cassie, a blind woman who depends on her ultra sensitive hearing to unravel the ancient mysteries of an Abandoned Estate that plagues her nightmares. This is a first-person psychological horror game the likes of which we haven’t really seen before.

I love the unique look the game takes on, and what a challenge it must of been creating the experience of navigating through what almost looks like echolocation. Perception seems to have the popular element of being defenseless, leaving you only to run and hide form your assailants or face certain death. Games like this always leave the player with a unique experience.

If you’re a fan of games like SOMA be sure to keep your eyes here as we’ll keep you updated, for now Perception releases on May 30th, 2017 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think!
