Bring the Fun With ‘Yooka-Laylee’ Multiplayer

Yooka-Laylee comes out later this year and is looking to be a sort of spiritual successor to the classic Banjo-Kazooie games. Playtonic Games and Team17 revealed a new trailer showcasing the fun, local multiplayer arcade games available in the game. Of course Yooka-Laylee is going to feature some great local mutliplayer, but these arcade cabinets located in Rextro’s Arcade add a whole new layer. You can compete in solo games to climb the leaderboards or play up to four players in the local co-op. Brawl to collect the most quills in the Glaciators arena, race in Kartos Karting or duke it out for the flag in Blag the Flag.

Those are just some of the games you’ll be able to play when the game launches on April 11th of this year. Keep in mind, players that pre-order either the digital or physical version of Yooka-Laylee will receive instant access to the Yooka-Laylee Toybox. The Toybox gives players a full sandbox experience and gives a glimpse of how the platforming in the game works. Be sure to pick up Yooka-Laylee on either your Xbox One, Playstation 4 or Steam accessible PC on April 11th! Check out the trailer above for the full minigame lineup.
