The Batman: Arkham Origins prequel is just about a week away from releasing, so Warner Bros. has its marketing machine in full swing. Earlier this week a new free-to-play iOS game was released to hype the official game’s October 25 debut, and now today a brand new TV spot has been issued.
The TV spot opted for a somber tone by showcasing Bruce Wayne at various stages in his life beginning with the murder of his parents, and then ending with him in full Batman garb duking it out with a thug. Batman fans will surely appreciate this trailer’s theme as it relates to the seed that caused Bruce to go all vigilante in the first place, which is where Arkham Origins picks up.
Batman is a noob in Origins as the gaming community would say, so it’ll be interesting to see if WB Montreal weaves the motif of this trailer and the effect of Bruce’s parents murder into the game’s narrative. Head on down below to check out the new TV spot, as well as a trailer for the Batman: Arkham Origins mobile game.
Batman: Arkham Origins releases on October 25, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. The official mobile title for PS Vita and 3DS releases on the 25th as well.
