First Images Released For Game Of Thrones Season 8, Episode 5

HBO has posted nine new images for the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones, which is officially the penultimate episode of the series.

The images hint that most of the episode will be spent at two locations, which are King’s Landing and Dragonstone. A battle will surely take place at King’s Landing, as evident by the shot of Jon and his armies and the Golden Company, plus Miguel directed it, which means a battle will take place of some sort.

Curiously, it appears that we will also head to Dragonstone, and it looks like Jon and Varys will to. Will this mean that the Spider will make his pitch to Jon? Who knows but the end is nigh, so tune in this Sunday.

First Images Released For Game Of Thrones Season 8, Episode 4

HBO has released a batch of new stills for the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones, which at this time is still known as Season 8, Episode 4. Based on the images, it looks like there will be a massive funeral held at Winterfell for the fallen, who in turn will be burnt up on massive funeral pyres.

It also looks like we will finally head back to King’s Landing, which was teased in the episode’s trailer on Sunday. We should expect some battle planning by Dany and her forces too, and by the end of the episode it looks like her fleet will be setting sail for somewhere, and I’m guessing the Iron Islands, because I don’t think they need ships to sail to King’s Landing. I guess they could just want to make the trip faster, so they could be sailing south too.

Also, I’m most interested in the still of Drogon, because I’m all about the dragons.

Head on down below to check out the stills.

First Images Released for Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 3

HBO has put out six images for the next episode of Game of Thrones, which debuts this upcoming Sunday night at 9pm EST. Season 8, Episode 3 will feature the Battle of Winterfell, so I was surprised that only six images were released.

As expected, the images don’t reveal a damn thing, but they’re still fun to comb over. The shot of Jon and Dany implies they’re probably with the Dragons looking over the entire Battle, so it seems like they may ride the dragons early on in the fight. I also liked the shot of Jaime and Brienne embracing for some sort of hell. I do think she will die in this episode saving Jaime, which sucks, but I highly doubt she makes it out alive. Especially with the whole ceremony she got last week.

The other images show Sansa and Arya on the ramparts, as well as Sansa in the crypt. You can also see Tyrion and Varys hanging out in the soon-to-be death pit.

23 New Images Released for Game of Thrones: Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Episode

Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 2 was titled, “Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” and it was full of setup for the Battle of Winterfell. It featured tons of great dialogue heavy scenes between characters we’ve come to know since the beginning, so it was a farewell of sorts before the Battle of Winterfell kicks off next week.

HBO has released 23 new images from this episode, which you can check out below. These are all brand new, and in addition to the images we shared last week before the episode aired. These images in particular capture the great character moments and reunions we got in the episode, so that’s why they weren’t released before the episode aired.

Check out the gallery below. We should be posting images for Episode 3 later this week, so stay tuned for that preview.

Check Out 30 Stills from the Avengers: Endgame Special Look Trailer

Earlier this morning Avengers: Endgame broke the Internet, much like Ralph did in 2018. That’s because pre-sale tickets went live, and nearly every movie ticket site on the planet felt the brunt of MCU fans trying to score early screenings to it. As of this writing, it’s still nearly impossible to order tickets, so hopefully that will clear up in a bit.

Anyway, we also got a new special look trailer for the film, which offered a brand new shot of Thanos, this time in full armor. It’s actually a great trailer that offers up more insights into what may be going down with the plot, so make sure to check it out.

We also grabbed 30 new stills from the trailer, which you can check out below.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.

Check Out 35 Stills From the New Avengers: Endgame Trailer

A brand new Avengers: Endgame trailer dropped earlier today, as well as a new poster for the film, so naturally we snagged new stills from the trailer. There are 35 to behold in fact, which is a low number, but most of the new trailer featured old MCU Phase 1 footage, or Endgame footage we’ve seen before, so I only captured stills of mostly brand new scenes from Avengers: Endgame.

I wouldn’t call any of them spoilery, I mean they were in an approved trailer, but I am surprised that they revealed that Tony makes it back to Avengers HQ. I figured they’d keep his whereabouts “lost in space” for now, but Marvel went ahead and revealed that he’s at least with the team when they’re all walking through the hanger at Avengers HQ, which has been a staple shot in each trailer so far.

You can check out the new stills below. Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Gets a Fresh Batch of Stills

HBO has released a batch of stills for the eighth season of Game of Thrones. Now, before you get all excited about them let me temper your expectations a bit, because they don’t offer anything up outside of portraits of the main players still playing the game.

There are 14 stills in total to look at, but none of them have any clues about what’s to come. There are also no shots of the Night King and his army of White Walkers, so while it’s awesome to get some official Game of Thrones Season 8 stills, they don’t have much bite.

If anything, I guess we can speculate about the locations the shots come from. I’m thinking the shots are split between two main Westeros locations. The first is Winterfell, and the second is King’s Landing. All of the shots of everyone but Cersei I think are from the Northern stronghold, while the shots of Cersei are from King’s Landing.

Check out the full gallery below.

Here Are 15 Stills From the Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl Trailer

On Sunday night a short new trailer for Avengers: Endgame debuted, and while it was only 30-seconds long, it still packed in a ton of new footage. There was enough to capture 15 stills of fresh Endgame action, which you can check out below.

A few of the shots may be missing a character, because you’ll see a wide open space next to a lineup of other heroes, so a few secrets may be being hidden right in front of our eyes. I don’t believe any to be overly spoiler-ish either, so feel safe while checking them out.

In addition to the new Endgame stills we also broke down the Super Bowl trailer and tried to speculate on some plot points based on the new scenes that were show. One thing is for sure, and that’s the fact that Steve and the gang aren’t giving up, that you can take to the bank!

If you missed the trailer you can check it out via our Endgame archives.

66 Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Stills and New Poster to Check Out

Sony released the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home today, and it is well worth checking out. In addition to the first official trailer, a new poster has also been released, and it definitely plays on the theme that Spider-Man will be doing a bit of traveling in Far From Home.

Because we love all things geeky and MCU, I went ahead and captured stills from the new trailer for your viewing pleasure. There are 66 in total, and should cover most of the interesting visuals that were presented in the trailer.

Check out 29 Stills From the First Avengers: Endgame Trailer

The first trailer for Avengers 4, aka, Avengers: Endgame is here, and already broken down, but now you can check out 29 stills from it. 29 is definitely a low number for a 2-minute plus MCU stills post, but the trailer really didn’t feature that many scenes, which is why the number of interesting scenes to pick over is so low. There’s also not much to point out, or pick up from the stills, as the Russo Bros. took special care not to reveal anything major. Although, there are a few interesting nuggets in there, such as the fate of Shuri and Scott Lang, as well as Hawkeye’s new look.

If you haven’t seen the trailer you must do so now! We also have a breakdown video that analyzes each still and provides commentary and plot speculations based on them.

Stay tuned for more Avengers: Endgame coverage as it becomes available, and make sure to keep your fingers ready for the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, which is supposed to drop tomorrow. What a week for MCU fans!

Check Out 60 Stills From the Second Captain Marvel Trailer

The second official Captain Marvel trailer dropped last night during Monday Night Football, and it offered up a much deeper look at the film’s lead character than the first.

It really setup her origin, and how the Kree may have hid her true past from her. It is a great second trailer, and definitely got me more excited to find out more about the mystical Captain Marvel. If anything else, the end of the trailer showed off just how badass she can be when her powers are at full force, so I can’t wait to see more, and I really can’t wait to see her square off with Thanos in Avenger 4.

I went ahead and screen capped 60 stills from the trailer to capture the new scenes from the trailer. I hope to do a break down and analysis with them sometime tomorrow, but for now you can soak in the Captain Marvel stills goodness below.

Sift Through 45 Stills From the First Captain Marvel Movie Trailer

Earlier today the first ever Captain Marvel trailer released, and it was rather quite excellent. It offered a great preview of the film without giving away any concrete plot information thanks to its crafty edit. The trailer featured plenty of great shots, which we captured via 45 stills. The stills are of the trailer’s more important scenes, as well as those that just looked awesome as they played out. I do not believe any spoilers have been captured within them, but if you’re avoiding all things Captain Marvel, I’d shy away for now, because you never know what a more sleuthy eyed fan may pick up in them.

The image gallery below is not in chronological order based on when the stills played out in the trailer. With that being said you should still be able to piece together this movie’s plot, which won’t be a full on origin story, but looks to offer up flashbacks that will fill in the gaps for MCU fans on Captain Marvel’s backstory.

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019.

Ray Park as Darth Maul Images and Clip From Solo: A Star Wars Story Released

In honor of Solo: A Star Wars Story’s upcoming digital release, Lucasfilm has dropped the film’s most talked about clip for fans to watch, as well as a few official shots of the iconic character featured in it. The clip I’m referring to is the reveal that Darth Maul was Dryden Voss’ boss in the Crimson Dawn criminal organization after Qi’ra called him up post her killing Voss.

It was definitely a shocking moment the first time I saw it, but one I very much appreciated, and felt it added a great tie to the prequels and the cartoon universes that are all a part of the Star Wars canon these days. When I first saw the metallic boots I had an idea that Maul could be the shadowy figure Qi’ra called, but I also wondered if it would be Vader. That thought was instantly squashed when Sam Witwer’s voice was heard and Maul’s face was shown, but I was even happier to see him as the head of the Crimson Dawn.

I also appreciated that they used Ray Park, the original Darth Maul actor from The Phantom Menace, to bring him back to the live-action universe. You can now see Ray in full Maul garb below courtesy of Lucasfilm by way of Forbes. It’s too bad that Solo failed at the box office, because I would love to see Maul back in another movie with a much larger role, but I fear those projects have been scrapped altogether after Solo’s poor box office run. Oh well, there’s always a chance.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits digital on September 14.
