Check Out Some Gambit Gameplay From Destiny 2: Forsaken

Bungie has posted a new gameplay video for Destiny 2: Forsaken to show off the new hybrid multiplayer mode Gambit. This mode will be introduced to the game with the arrival of Destiny 2: Forsaken this September.

The mode mixes both PvE and PvP elements together to create a very unique feeling take on a FPS multiplayer mode. Two teams of human controlled players square off against AI controlled characters to earn orbs to shove into a central device that can call a super enemy to be killed, and once that enemy is killed, the game ends. While this is going on though, players from the opposing team can cross over through a portal to disrupt the other team’s players from gathering orbs. Players on opposing teams can also save up orbs and redeem them to generate larger enemies for the opposing team to face as well.

I played some Gambit at E3 and loved it, just read over my preview. Now you too can see what a match looks like by heading on up above.

Destiny 2: Forsaken and the new Gambit mode will launch on September 4, 2018.
