Dog Eat Dog Games are working on a new title that will feature a procedurally generated cosmos for you to blast your way through. Stellar, as it is called, will feature hundreds of enemies for you to face off against in both 2D and 3D perspectives. With planets to explore and dog-fights to be had, the game styles itself around 80’s arcade space shooters, while bringing some modern day technology to the table as well.

According to the developers, you will play as an alien on a quest to dominate the cosmos in the name of his race. Your unique abilities as the alien will include being able to shift dimensions from 3D to 2D, and also ‘merge’ other alien technologies with your own.

A playable demo of Stellar will be available at PAX South this month. Dog Eat Dog Games have also stated that Stellar is being developed for PC, consoles, and will feature Oculus Rift support. A release date is set for 2016.
