Gazillion Entertainment has put out a new developer diary for their upcoming free-to-play Marvel Heroes MMO.  This video showcases some actual gameplay from the game, and I can’t help but draw comparisons to Diablo after viewing it.  Considering that David Brevik (one of the creators of Diablo) is behind this project, the whole Diablo-like experience found in Heroes isn’t that surprising.  Oh, and by the way, Brian Michael Bendis penned the story, so Heroes has everything in order to make for a great gaming experience.

Personally, I think this game looks very enticing, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a Mac version.  Marvel Heroes could just be the comic book MMO game that fans have been waiting for, and the fact that you actually get to play as real Marvel characters, and not a made up one like DC Universe Online, should only drive more fans to its gameplay.  Check out the latest developer diary for it below.  You’ve been needing to play this game…
