The latest 8-bit Cinema episode from CineFix tackles Frank Miller’s and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City from 2005 using the NES classic Mighty Final Fight as the engine. There may be a bit of River City Ransom in there too, but one thing is clear and that’s how awesome this 8-bit version of Sin City truly is.

CineFix recreated all of the major scenes from the film starting with Bruce Willis getting shot all the way to Marv’s rampage on the city’s thugs. The action is complimented with a killer 8-bit synth track that completes the 8-bit makeover of Sin City perfectly. You can check out the Sin City 8-bit Cinema episode above. After doing so you can check out some gameplay from the NES classics Mighty Final Fight and River City Ransom to see where the design for 8-bit Sin City came from.
