[UPDATE] We have the trailer below! Activision’s UK website more or less let the cat out of the bag today in regards to the official reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which will indeed happen tonight during TNT’s coverage of the NBA playoffs. Activision has since blocked the IP’s of US computers trying to access their UK site, but the damage has already been done. Both the release date and details about Black Ops 2 have already been leaked, so all that’s left is for the reveal trailer to air here in the States tonight on TNT. COD: Black Ops 2 will hit retail stores on November 13, 2012, and it will take place during the 21st century rather than the Cold War era of the original.
From what I’ve read it sounds like another Modern Warfare-esque setting, so that begs the question of franchise fatigue. Regardless, this game will sell like hotcakes come November, so if you want to get a sneak peek at it make sure to tune into TNT tonight to watch some NBA playoff action. You’ve been dreading playing another COD game on Veteran…
[UPDATE] We just got the trailer fresh from Activision, so enjoy!
