San Diego’s Comic-Con began in 1970 with a group of movies, comics and science fiction fans who came together to create the first ever comic book convention in southern California. Over the years, SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) has grown and has become the focal point for the world of comic conventions.

This past weekend was the 48th year for the SDCC and it was a super successful year with attendance topping 130,000 people. They had many special guests including Stan Lee who co-created Spiderman, X-men and The Avengers, Allen Bellman who created backgrounds for Captain America in 1942, and Peter David who co-created the best-selling Star Trek: New Frontier series.

One thing Comic Con has also become known for is its cosplayers, and Sneaky Zebra filmed an awesome video to capture all of the great cosplay at this year’s show. Head on up above to check it out.
