Corpse of Discovery Launch Trailer Feels No Man’s Skyish Sans Flying

Phosphor Games’ Corpse of Discovery launched on Steam today (still not available for some reason though), so a new gameplay trailer has been released to show interested gamers what it’s all about.

Besides the lack of flying ships zipping through the universe, I couldn’t help but be reminded of No Man’s Sky when I checked out the new footage. Like No Man’s Sky, Corpse of Discovery is all about exploring new planets, but it doesn’t feel as arcade-like if that makes sense. This game has a much more solitary feel, and looks to be full of death around every corner of the planets you explore. It definitely feels more like a lost in space type of survival game if anything.

Head on up above to check it out to see if you too get the No Man’s Sky feel from it.
