Microsoft has released a new batch of Crackdown 3 screenshots to compliment its Gamescom showing. The new screens are explosive to say the least, and while a few aren’t that impressive looking, I mean, it looks like someone took a picture of a monitor in some, there are a few that offer much promise. It appears the cel-shaded visual style is still in place, but the characters now look a bit closer to the animation style featured in a Pixar movie such as The Incredibles.

It was also revealed today that Crackdown 3 will offer 4-player co-op for its campaign, and that it will feature a multiplayer mode that is all about destruction, which will be aided by the power of the cloud. Head on down below to check out the new screens, as well as the new trailer if you missed it.

Crackdown 3’s multiplayer should be playable in some form next summer.
