Crawl has been in Early Access on Steam since August of last year, and the developers at Powerhoof have been updating the game to make sure it turns out exactly how they plan it to. With new updates come new features, and the latest Plague Mushroom update comes in the form of new beasts and even a new boss fight. The main changes are listed below but Powerhoof has also made some minor changes to Crawl, which if you wish to view can be seen at this link.
Among the big list of changes:
  • New boss battle cooperate with your friends to walk a giant hydra around the battle field, firing ice, flame and goo, while the hero works to chop off your heads!
  • Control 5 new monsters be a spear-wielding servant, a putrid mushroom, a gluttonous tentacled abomination, a possessed priestess, or a magical hooded haunt.
  • Worship 4 new deities, each with new a unique hero buff.
  • New Interactive Scenery– read from magic tomes, risk a drink from an ancient fountain, or deface a tombstone to enhance your abilities.
