Cross-stiched Optimus Prime is Geek Sewing at its Finest

I’ve come to the conclusion that there isn’t a single hobby on this Earth that can’t be used in a geeky manner now that I’ve seen a fully functioning cross-stitched Optimus Prime doll that actually transforms!  The cross-stitch masters over at LordLibidan are the geeks responsible for this most awesome sewing project, and they do offer the template for these unique collectibles for a reasonable price of $20 USD.

From browsing their site it also looks like other Transformers are available to buy besides Prime, and as mentioned they all will transform.  I guess magnets are used in the project to make sure that the cross-stitch stays in place when the doll is in vehicle mode.  Check out this project below, and if you want one for yourself head on over to this link.  You’ve been thinking that sewing doesn’t suck as much as you thought…
