Marvel is ready to begin 2015 with a bang next week when Star Wars #1 hits shelves, which is slated to be the highest selling book in quite a few years. In preparation for such an occasion, Marvel is piggybacking with Dark Horse to bring the Dark Horse Star Wars books to comiXology for the first time.

Titled as “Star Wars Debut” on comiXology, these books are finally available on the popular digital service. Mostly made up of limited series like Dark Empire and Knights of the Old Republic, it also includes the first 27 issues of the original Marvel Star Wars book that came out alongside the original movies.

Dark Horse had ended their time with the Star Wars publishing license with a gigantic digital sale from their site, and since Dark Horse does not offer their books on comiXology, they only appear now since Marvel is offering them as the appetizer for their new slate of Star Wars books, of which the main series begins next week.
